What to Wear
Sartorial Considerations to pass on to your haberdasher, seamstrix, miliner and cobbler
We are thrilled to host the entirety of our rustic country gathering, from ceremony to revels, at Ways’ End, Jonathan’s childhood home in the woodsy bucolic town of Lincoln, MA.
To make the most of this beautiful place, you will be invited to join us in to-ing and fro-ing, circumnavigating, treasure hunting, choose-your-own-adventuring, and generalized tomfoolery around the property as the evening progresses!
Attire/Dress Code: “Country/Garden”
Please wear clothing that allows you to feel festive, comfortable, and present. Joy-forward outfits with statement accessories.
For dress-wearers:
Think mid- to long-length bright colors, patterns, and florals, garden party/sundress level fanciness. Jumpsuits of course encouraged for those who plan high-kicks or splits on the dance floor. Please consider a shawl/layer for a cool evening.
For suit-wearers:
Think lightweight pants and blazer, festive ties/bolos for neck flair, don’t forget your party socks.
Shoes:
Practical shoes are a must! Ways’ End is a country setting. Please wear shoes that prioritize comfort, stablity on uneven ground, and sweet moves on the dance floor.
