 Exploring Lincoln & Concord

See below for recommendations for some of our favorite local activities!

Walden Pond + Adams Woods
Start with a lakeside stroll and bracing dip, then head to Adams Woods for shady trails, meadows, and classic Concord/Lincoln woods wandering.

(Great spot for a trail run!)

Concord Center
The spitting image of fall colonial New England charm — cafés, bookstores, and shops along Main Street, with nearby Revolution-era sites and museums.

deCordova Sculpture Park
Outdoor contemporary sculptures spread through a beautiful landscape—great for a relaxed morning walk with something interesting around every corner.

Drumlin Farm
A working farm and wildlife sanctuary—especially fun if you’re traveling with kids (or just want to pet a goat and reset your nervous system).

Minute Man Bikeway
A paved multi-use trail connecting the area’s towns—great for an easy ride, stroll, or run with lots of natural turnaround points near cafés.

Dairy Joy
J’s favorite childhood ice cream haunt — ideal as a reward after a walk (or, honestly, as the main event).

Codman Estate
A beautiful historic property with gardens—see if you can find the llamas
